It’s Time to Celebrate!

How about some good news, for a change?  Although George and I are both going through quite a bit of “repair and maintenance” to our bodies, there are positive and celebratory things in our lives. Well, for one, there is our beloved Tarynn.

I’ll start with the announcement that after 30 years of Fellow National status in the Explorers Club, I am  now a designated Emeritus Member. This is such an honor!!! Carried 3 flags on expeditions and 2 were to Papua New Guinea. You know how I feel about this amazing part of the world.

Rainy beautiful Seattle – What else would you expect?

Last Friday evening, there was another celebration at a company established by David Hohimer, who has not just made sure our retirement is in reasonable shape, but has been a friend for 27 years!. And the entire team is also included in the friendship and recognition category. Hohimer Wealth Management is located in downtown Seattle, and the office is stunning. All the art, design, and decor is done by Robbie Ott. What a talented and thoughtful person, and I would like to thank him for “The Michele Westmorland Office” which includes some of my photography and works beautifully with the art around the spaces. By the way, I love the Speakeasy!!!

My handsome husband and I were proud to share the evening with friends and meeting new ones!
