In 2019, George and I had the great pleasure, along with some hard work, to climb Sigiriya Rock, also known as Lion Rock, in Sri Lanka. It is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District. Approximately 200 meters high, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Lion Gate was where we made the last set of steep stairs to the top. Thank you to Aggressor Adventures for hiring us to document the lodge, wildlife, and culture!!! It was an amazing adventure that we’re so happy to have experienced.

So, what will we be up to next? We will still be paying attention to our interests. Even if we can’t climb over 1200 stairs, we will explore. It will be closer to home. After knee and hip replacements, we are now the bionic couple, or as friends call us, “The Titanium Two”. Most important, we will continue to share with others that we love the environment, culture, and those who need our help, even if only one step at a time.

Just a notice that I will be modifying my email and information in addition to closing my website. Until then, I will do a couple of blog posts for fun.
